WaveAgent™ - Network Device Performance Characterization

WaveAgent - A small footprint software utility loaded onto a networking device. It provides device-specific measurements of forwarding rate, throughput, loss, voice MOS, video MDI, round-trip latency and jitter when enabled by VeriWave’s WaveInsite, WaveDeploy, WaveQoE, WaveDynamix and WaveClient applications.

Functions

Measure forwarding rate, loss, latency, jitter, UDP goodput, TCP goodput, voice MOS, and video MDI of the client Device Under Test (DUT) – WaveAgent is loaded onto this device.
Operates in conjunction with a “host” VeriWave Ethernet Traffic Generation / Analysis port connected to the network that communicates with the device under test.
WaveAgent allows test traffic generated by the VeriWave test port to pass through the DUT without higher layer applications interfering with measured results
WaveAgent can be utilized with the following VeriWave applications: WaveInsite, WaveDeploy, WaveDynamix, WaveClient and WaveQoE
