Management Team

A strong core team of networking protocol, verification, and test experts from leading semiconductor and test equipment vendors has been assembled to lead VeriWave.

Christopher DeMonico, Chief Executive Officer

Mr. DeMonico has over 23 years of experience in the high-tech sector having served in various positions including, Vice President of AT&T’s- Microelectronics Group and Vice President of Lucent Technologies- IC Group. In addition he was also a Vice President and Corporate Officer at PMC-Sierra. He began his career at Texas Instruments in Dallas, Texas where he held various management positions.

Dr. Thomas Alexander, Chief Technology Officer

Dr. Alexander has over 18 years experience in the networking and computation industries. Most recently he was the chief architect for Ethernet products for PMC-Sierra. He is active in communications standards being the editor for the IEEE 802.3ae 10G Ethernet standard, the Chief Editor, IEEE 802.17 and the technical editor, 802.11T. He has invented widely-applied Ethernet technology and has a history of founding and guiding successful companies, including Bit Inc., which was acquired by PMC-Sierra, and ImageSystems.

Tim Bennington-Davis, Vice-President of Engineering

Mr. Bennington-Davis has over 22 years of experience in the development of high-performance test and measurement equipment. He has held positions in engineering management, marketing, manufacturing and product line management at Tektronix, Inc., and worked in product areas that include oscilloscopes, high-speed digitizers, RF test equipment, optical test equipment and protocol/transport test equipment. Most recently he was the Director of OptoMechancial Engineering at InFocus Corporation.

Eran Karoly, Vice-President of Marketing

Mr. Karoly has over 17 years of engineering, product management and marketing experience in the network test industry. Most recently he served as Vice President of Marketing for Ixia, where he built the product management, marketing, and support teams and was responsible for all marketing and branding activities. He also held key marketing positions at Spirent Communications, and ECI Telecom.

Jim Kinnebrew, Vice-President of Worldwide Sales

Mr. Kinnebrew is a veteran sales executive with over 25 years of experience in the communications sector. Prior to joining VeriWave, Mr. Kinnebrew was Vice President of Eastern Operations at Spirent Communications Corporation. Prior to Spirent, Kinnebrew was Vice President, Americas for Nortel Corporation responsible for all sales and support operations throughout the Americas. Mr. Kinnebrew has an extensive background in both datacom and telecom having held Vice President of Sales positions at British Telecom and Micom Communications Corporation.

Kellie VavRosky, Chief Financial Officer

Ms. VavRosky has over 20 years of progressive experience in financial and working capital management including banking, international finance, treasury, and internal control. Prior to joining the VeriWave team, Kellie was Director of Finance at InFocus Corporation, a publicly traded, high tech manufacturer. In this role she was responsible for overseeing banking, accounting and finance functions across the company’s domestic and foreign subsidiaries. Prior to that she held several positions in Treasury at Tektronix Corporation. In addition to a BA degree in Business and Economics, Ms. VavRosky holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Portland State University.
