Description

Responsible for the software system that enables VeriWave to qualify and track product. This software system extends from board level calibration and test modules to the top level product tracking application. Strong software skills across embedded systems and business systems (database, GUI, middleware) are definitely required. The successful candidate will be able to see the big picture and implement it down to the details.

Duties

• Lead software development / integration and implementation for board level manufacturing test
• Be a technical resource during the NPI Processes to facilitate product introduction to local contract manufacturers
• Continuous refinement of test systems to increase efficiency, test coverage, and reduce false failures
• Leverage lean manufacturing & engineering design best practices to pioneer next generation test software design
• Integrating test solutions and product qualification data into the product tracking system

Requirements:

• BSCS, or equivalent, and 5-10+ years of overall experience
• Strong programming skills in one or more of the following languages; C / C++, Verilog, and scripting languages such as tcl or python
• Expert user on Linux / Unix platforms
• Exposure to printed circuit assemblies and board level test
• Database experience (such as SQL, etc.)

Desired

• Experience with micro-processor and FPGA based systems and ability to read electrical schematics
• Familiarity with networking concepts
• Preferably, someone who is strong in test and software development skills
• Quick learner who isn't afraid of jumping into new and unknown territories to help ship the product
