VeriWave is an active participant in the IEEE 802.11 WLAN standardization working group. Our representatives are voting members of the 802.11 working group and active participants of the 802.11T – Wireless Performance Prediction Group, which is focused on defining test methodologies for wireless LANs.

VeriWave is an active contributor to the IETF wireless benchmarking group. VeriWave’s CTO is the author of the first IETF RFC defining the benchmarking methodology of WLANs.

UNH – IOL

A part of the University of New Hampshire's Research Computing Center, the Interoperability Laboratory (IOL) has the dual mission to foster interoperability within the data communications industry and to provide students with a detailed education in data communications technologies.

By bringing together parties working on a standard technologies the IOL helps to improve the state of interoperability within the industry. By employing students to develop the test suites, tools, scripts, and to perform the testing, the IOL provides them with a detailed, hands-on apprenticeship.

VeriWave is an active contributor to UNH – IOL. In addition to participating in the definition and design of interoperability tests, we also provide the lab with test equipment, and sponsor its students.
